Taylor Heating and AC (Part of the Gene Johnson Family) is looking for a Purchaser and Dispatch Coordinator to join their dynamic team! This individual will manage purchasing for the HVAC service department, as well as light dispatch and customer service work. If you're looking for a place to focus on your career at stable and secure brand, come join our top tier team! 

 

What You’ll Do: 

 

Purchasing:

  • Manage the procurement of HVAC parts and equipment for the service department.
  • Maintain inventory levels, ensuring timely availability of parts needed for repairs and installations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
  • Track and reconcile orders, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of goods.

Dispatching:

  • Assist in scheduling and dispatching service technicians based on customer needs and urgency.
  • Monitor and update service schedules to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Provide support for technicians, ensuring they have the resources they need to complete their work.

Customer Service:

  • Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Route customer inquiries to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Address customer calls related to parts purchasing, providing product information and order status updates.
  • Assist with any customer issues or questions, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

What You Bring: 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Experience in purchasing, dispatch, and/or customer service roles (HVAC industry experience is a plus)

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks 

Physical Demands:  

  • Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in the stationary position for 50% of the  

  • May be required to bend, climb (stairs or ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run.  

  • May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time.  

  • May be required to maneuver up to 25 lb. by lifting, carrying, or pushing
